Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp enjoyed every second of his young side’s FA Cup win over Merseyside rivals Everton.

Despite resting several star names, a much revamped Liverpool side got the better of Everton by 1-0 in the third-round tie held at Anfield.

New signing Takumi Minamino made his first start for Liverpool since arriving from Red Bull Salzburg but it was teenager Curtis Jones who stole the show on the night with a wonder strike. There was also a start for 16-year-old prodigy Harvey Elliott as a youthful Liverpool side prevailed over a strong Everton line up.

The visitors had several chances to get their noses in front in the first-half but were unable to make that dominance count before Liverpool came out strongly in the second period.

See what Klopp had to say on Liverpool’s promising display in the video posted above.
