VAR controversy rocked the Premier League once again as Liverpool beat Wolves to continue their impressive unbeaten run.

The Reds prevailed by a solitary Sadio Mane goal at Anfield with VAR ending up as the biggest talking point. Mane’s goal was initially disallowed by referee Anthony Taylor who called a handball on Adam Lallana in the build-up.

The goal was reinstated after a VAR check but there would be more controversy to follow just moments later. Wolves thought they had equalised through Pedro Neto but a VAR check ruled the goal out due to the most marginal of off-side decisions.

The incident left Wolves and their manager Nuno Esprito Santo incensed with Liverpool subsequently holding on for the win.

See what Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp had to say on the VAR controversies in the match in the video posted above.
