Manchester City is set to host newly promoted Aston Villa ahead of the Round 10 of the English Premier League on Saturday.

City recovered with two wins in a row against Crystal Palace (0-2) and Atalanda (5-1) in the Champions League, after losing at home against Wolves (0-2) in Round 8.

Aston Villa have not lost in their previous three matches in the English Premier League with two victories and one draw.

City are suffering with injury issues, which worsened in midweek after Oleksandr Zinchenko and Rodri also joined the casualty list.

But Guardiola has moved to rule out new signings in January.

“I think the players we need is not just for six months it is for a long time, and I think the important players they are not going to be sell, so that’s why I think we are going to be the whole season with the players that we have right now.”
