New Everton striker Moise Kean is excited about developing in the Premier League after joining from Juventus in a deal reported to be worth £27.5 million.

Everton announced the signing on its website on Sunday, saying Kean has signed a five-year deal.

The highly-rated forward scored six goals in 13 appearances in helping Juve claim last season’s Serie A title, having made his club debut as a 16-year-old.

He made his international debut against Finland in a European Championship qualifier in March, when he became the youngest player to score for Italy since 1958.

“I’m very proud, I’m very honoured to wear this shirt,” said Keane, speaking in Italian through an interpreter.

“I am hoping that I will give the best to this team.

“I was convinced to join this club because club and squad is looking forward, is looking to the future and has great prospects I am also doing that too looking to the future.”
