Manchester City celebrated their historic treble with a trophy parade through the city on Monday.

Pep Guardiola’s side became the first team in England to win the league and both domestic cups following their 6-0 win over Watford in the English FA Cup final on Saturday.

City had already won Premier League together with the Carabao Cup that they clinched in February.

Captain Vincent Kompany announced his departure from the club in the aftermath of their FA Cup success bringing to an end his 11-year stay in Manchester.

Kompany waved to fans that lined the streets of Manchester in his final appearance before he leaves to rejoin his boyhood club Anderlecht in his new role as player-manager.

“Vincent (Kompany) we are going to miss him a lot,” admitted Guardiola.” I am going to miss him. I think it’s an incredible way to (send him off). We are going to see him in the future because he is coming back sooner or later.”
