Tomas Berdych has tipped Nick Kyrgios to become a future Grand Slam champion after the Australian star edged the Czech 6-4 6-4 in their quarter-final clash at the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships.

Berdych, who reached the 2010 Wimbledon final, believes the 20-year-old has all the ingredients in his game to challenge for major honours in the future.

And the two-time Dubai runner-up feels fresh faces at the top of the men’s game are good for the ATP World Tour.
