Third seed and two-time Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships runner-up Tomas Berdych is relishing being back in Dubai – a place that feels like a home away from home for the Czech star.

The 30-year-old, who cruised through to the quarter-finals of the tournament in the UAE with a straight-sets victory over Italian Thomas Fabbiano, will face Australian Nick Kyrgios in the last eight.

And ahead of his next match, the World No.7 admits he is enjoying being back in Dubai: “It really goes hand-in-hand when you have a place where you’re playing well, it connects together – you feel good in the place which means the tournament is really trying to take good care of the players.”
