Roger Federer spends time at Dubai’s Burj Al Arab

15:16 28/02/2014

Tennis superstar Roger Federer has made Dubai his second home over the years, both with his on-court success and the amount of time he spends in the emirate.

Not only has Federer dominated the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships (he's won the tournament five times) but the Swiss master can often be found in the off-season using Dubai's perfect weather ahead of a new year.

Here, Federer sits down with Annabel Croft to discuss his relationship with Dubai, his thoughts on the incredible changes to the city over the years, and why he is so fond of the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships.

Given Federer's status, it seems only fitting that the interview takes place in surroundings befitting of such an icon – the Burj Al Arab hotel.
