Former world No1 Venus Williams rolled back the years on Saturday when she stormed to the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships title with a straight sets victory over Alize Cornet.

While all eyes were on sister Serena at the start of the tournament, Venus ensured all the plaudits went her way by the end.
