Little Interviews – Rory McIlroy meets nine-year-old Billy on sidelines of Race to Dubai

Rory McIlroy faced the toughest interview of his career at Jumeirah Golf Estates in Dubai, where the four-time Major Champion was grilled by nine-year-old reporter Billy on the eve of his defence of the DP World Tour Championship.

It is part of the European Tour’s ‘Little Interview’ series, which began in the summer and has featured interviews with golfers Graeme McDowell, Thomas Bjørn and Andrew ‘Beef’ Johnston and One Direction superstar Niall Horan.

In the latest episode, McIlroy is quizzed about the subjects most reporters wouldn’t dare to ask.

From golf to girls, from weddings to Tiger, Billy didn’t back down, and the results were simply hilarious.

Filmed on location in one of Jumeirah Golf Estates’ luxury villas bordering the famous Earth Course, Billy and Rory even found time to go for a dip in the pool and play a little golf.
