Pakistan fan buys McDonalds for stars Shahid Afridi and Ahmed Shehzad in New Zealand

The cricket fan chipped in to buy meals for Afridi and team-mate Ahmed Shehzad at Auckland airport as the two cricketers realised they were unable to pay for their food.

A video shared by TVNZ shows the fan, who revealed his identity as Waqas Naveed, expressing his happiness over ‘welcoming’ the Pakistani cricket team in New Zealand.

Pakistan play the hosts in three T20Is and three ODIs, with the first match taking place at Eden Park in Auckland on Friday.
