Kings XI Punjab put off-the-field problems behind them to trounce Mumbai Indians in a stunning seven-wicket win.

The hosts led from the front with the ball, restricting the Indians to 124-9, with in-form Marcus Stoinis claiming 4-15 as their big batting names failed to fire.

Captain Murali Vijay then powered the Kings to an excellent start in their chase, plundering 54 runs from 52 balls while Wriddhiman Sala hit 56 from 12 fewer deliveries.

Sport360’s cricket expert Ajit Vijaykumar analyses an action-packed Friday night of play as Kings’ hot streak continued.
