England captain Eoin Morgan admitted he was in a state of disbelief after he smashed an ODI world record 17 sixes in his 148 during his side’s win over Afghanistan at Old Trafford on Tuesday.

Morgan’s sensational innings was the foundation of England’s 397 for 6 – a total which included 25 sixes, also an ODI world best.
