Eric Dier is a multi-talented footballer who can play as a centre-back, right-back, and defensive midfielder. But he’s no slouch as an attacker, either.

He’s among the designated free-kick takers for Tottenham and England, a genuine aerial threat from set-pieces, and possesses a fierce long-range shot.

So there were high expectations of him when he took on the Copa90 five-shot challenge, and Dier duly delivered.

Amusingly, he missed out on the 1-on-1 shot, but he acquitted himself well for the rest of the challenge. Well enough, in fact, to beat one of his team-mates for club and country, a player far more feted for his attacking talents – Dele Alli. That should make for a fun story in Spurs training.

Check out how he fared in the video above.
