Irked by the lack of a local wrestling platform, Caleb Hall, a professional wrestler from Seattle, Washington, teamed up with his friends to create Dubai Pro Wrestling (DPW) and it serves as a one-stop-shop for wrestling fanatics and people keen on pursuing a career in the industry.

The 33-year old was trained under the legendary Rogers and is now following in the footsteps of his mentor, with his aim to create Middle East’s equivalent of WWE.

“We have a team of about 30 to 35 people and we are hoping to get to the next level and eventually be able to produce a wrestling television show for people that are living right here in Dubai,” Hall tells Sport360.

He added: “There are so many people that love wrestling all over the world, but there aren’t enough good companies to work for. I want to create a company where people who love wrestling can come, work and get paid to do what they love.”

DPW is currently honing the talents of many aspiring wrestlers, who also recently caught the eye of WWE talent scouts.

And that’s no mean feat – given their network of staff travel all over the globe looking for wrestlers who can become the successors to some of the biggest wrestling superstars of WWE.

“WWE talent scouts are constantly looking for the next John Cena; the next rock; the next Hulk Hogan. They came here looking for exactly that, so they noticed a couple of guys we had and said we are interested in these two, three and we want to see more of them,” says Hall.

Hall eventually wants his company to be seen on the same level of WWE, but understands the effort and dedication reaching a goal like that will require.

Some of the wresting talents at DPW have been training for no longer than a year with Hall and yet have managed to catch WWE’s eye.

With the undying efforts of their team, DPW has become a force to be reckoned with in the local wrestling scene, to get more information on DPW, you can visit www.dubaiprowrestling.com or follow them on Instagram @dubaiprowrestling.
