Promoter Eddie Hearn has tipped the Anthony Joshua v Andy Ruiz Jr rematch as the ”start [of] something really big in this region.”

The pair arrived in Saudi Arabia ahead of their heavyweight rematch in Diriyah on Saturday.

Ruiz Jr said he ”wants to make more history” and retain his WBA, IBF, WBO and IBO heavyweight world title belts.

Joshua sensationally lost his belts to Ruiz Jr when he was stopped in the seventh round of their first meeting at Madison Square Garden in New York City on 1st June.

The rematch, dubbed the ‘Clash On The Dunes’, will take place at the Diriyah Arena and purpose-built Diriyah Oasis – a huge sprawling entertainment hub.
