Italy international Stephan El Shaarawy arrived in Shanghai on Monday afternoon to join Chinese Super League (CSL) side Shanghai Shenhua.

The 26-year-old forward is moving from Serie A’s Roma to a struggling team.

Shenhua are third from bottom in the CSL with just 12 points after 16 rounds of the campaign.

Spanish coach Quique Sanchez Flores was recently replaced by Choi Kang-hee, twice an AFC Champions League winner with Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors.

Choi will be accompanied by fellow Korean Kim Shin-wook at Shanghai.

The 1-metre-96-centimetre tall striker also flew into the city on Monday having said his goodbyes at Jeonbuk.
