Four time winners Ghana, looked ahead on Monday on the eve of their opening Africa Cup of Nations match against Benin at the Ismailia Stadium in Egypt.

Captain Andre Ayew was in a particularly confident mood ahead of the Group F opener, declaring the team want to ‘make our nation proud.’

Ghana made their presence felt in the centre circle, even before the first kick of the match with a pre-game dance that involved nearly all of the squad.

The team are looking for their first AFCON title since 1982 as they take on fellow West Africans Benin.

Head coach Ikechukwu Ezenwa has his work cut out trying to progress from a group that also features defending champion Cameroon and Guinea-Bissau.
