This morning, three of the top four in the English Premier League lost last night enabling Leicester City to maintain their three-point advantage.

Tottenham could have gone top with a win against West Ham, but were unable to find the net in a frustrating night for Leicester’s title rivals.

Arsenal too suffered defeat as they looked to keep the pressure on at the top of the league, but a second Premier League defeat in a row means their season is starting to stumble.

Manchester City, playing Liverpool for the second time this week after the League Cup final at Wembley also were unable to grab a league win as they lost 3-0 at Anfield, giving Liverpool some consolation for missing out on the League Cup trophy.

In Europe, Real Madrid got back to winning ways with a win against Levante but remain nine points behind Barcelona whilst PSG progressed to the French cup semi-final as they hunt down a second consecutive French treble.

Bayern Munich lost in Germany and Juventus crashed to a 3-0 defeat at the hands of Inter Milan, although it finished 3-3 on aggregate and Juventus made the Coppa Italia final on penalties.
