This morning, Real Madrid have beaten Athletic Bilbao to close the gap to Barcelona to just a single point, although Barcelona have two games in hand, one of which is against Celta de Vigo later tonight. Ronaldo was against the goals once more, scoring twice to help his Real Madrid side to victory.

Also in La Liga, Gary Neville has got his first win as Valencia boss at the 10th attempt in the league. Having lost four and drawn five in Spain’s La Liga, the pressure on Neville was extreme but three valuable points may see his side turn a much-needed corner.

In the Premier League, Manchester United suffered another defeat as Louis van Gaal saw his side lose to Sunderland at the Stadium of Light. It means that United are six points from the top four and van Gaal says the only chance of Champions League qualification is to win the Europa League.

The Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships gets underway this week with the WTA event taking place ahead of the ATP tournament. Jelena Jankovic has been speaking to Sport 360 about her hopes for the week ahead.

And finally, Lionel Messi has been showing off his new Ferrari… although it’s not quite what you would expect as the Barcelona star celebrates winning Spain’s Player of the Month for the very first time.
