Celtic let slip a lead three times at home to Manchester City in a thrilling 3-3 draw at Celtic Park.

Moussa Dembele opened the scoring for the hosts before Fernandinho’s equaliser but the Scottish champions retook the lead thanks to Kieran Tierney’s deflected effort.

Raheem Sterling’s sublime finish made it 2-2 at half-time before Dembele scored his second to put Celtic back in front.

Nolito scored the final goal of the night as the two teams settled for a share of the six-goals.

Elsewhere, Barcelona came from behind to beat Borussia Monchengladbach 1-2 thanks to goals from Arda Turan and Gerard Pique.

Thorgan Hazard had put the German’s in front early on.

Atletico Madrid overcame German giants Bayern Munich 1-0, Yannick Ferreira Carrasco scoring the only goal of the game while Antoine Griezmann missed a second-half penalty for the hosts.

Theo Walcott scored twice for Arsenal in a 2-0 victory over Basel, while Ludogerets took a shock lead over PSG before eventually losing 1-3.

Napoli were convincing winners at home to Benfica, cruising to a 4-2 win and there were draws between in FC Rostov vs PSV (2-2) and Besiktas vs Dynamo Kiev (1-1).
