More than 50 Dubai Hurricanes’ kids were put through their paces by England trio Tom Wood, Courtney Lawes and Kyle Sinckler on Friday morning.

The England players were in Dubai following the 13-9 loss to Ireland on March 18 which denied them a second-successive Grand Slam in the Six Nations and history.

Expected British & Irish Lion Lawes was happy to help, leading the session at Lapita Hotel.

“Development of rugby in countries like this is very important, and also in England,” the 28-year-old lock said.

“It is really good to train with the kids and I like to get more involved.”

And our photographer Chris Whiteoak was on hand to capture the morning session that saw the England stars putting the UAE youngsters through their paces.

The ‘Daycation Brunch’ at Lapita Hotel provides the ultimate day out for the family. Prices start from Dh195 with soft beverages. Dh295 for house beverages and Dh95 for children under 12. Contact 04 810 9999 for more information
