15. STUART HOGG (SCOTLAND)

Solid in defence, a threat under the high ball and always delivers an attacking masterclass. His two tries against Ireland were spectacular.

14. LIAM WILLIAMS (WALES)

Wales’s outstanding winger is a superb asset to any starting line-up, thanks to his concrete-like tackling and terrific pace.

13. JONATHAN JOSEPH (ENGLAND)
Not his best campaign, but the Englishman carried time and again through the heart of opposite defences. A classy operator.

12. OWEN FARRELL (ENGLAND)

One of the stand-out players of the tournament, his contribution with ball in hand and from the tee was seminal to England’s Six Nations triumph.

11. ELLIOT DALY (ENGLAND)
Electric pace and a real menace with ball in hand. His late try against Wales sealed a thrilling victory.

10. JONNY SEXTON (IRELAND)
Although he didn’t play in the first two matches, Sexton was instrumental in Ireland’s wins over France and England.

9. CONOR MURRAY (IRELAND)

Outstanding ability to bring players into the game from any attack. Looks a genuine threat every time he has the ball.

1. CYRIL BAILLE (FRANCE)
Has been a colossus for France in the front row, with superb scrumagging ability and low penalty count conceded.

2. KEN OWENS (WALES)
A talismanic figure. Made his tackles and carried aggressively. His throwing was immaculate too.

3. TADHG FURLONG (IRELAND)

Dead cert for the Lions No3 jersey. His ball carrying was a major weapon in Ireland’s armoury.

4. JOE LAUNCHBURY (ENGLAND)
A powerhouse in attack and defence. Produced mammoth displays against Wales and Italy. The best player in the competition.

Joe Launchbury.

5. JONNY GRAY (SCOTLAND)

An inspirational player who continues to play with maturity beyond his 23 years. Delivered blistering performances against Ireland and Wales.

6. CJ STANDER (IRELAND)

An ultimate warrior who is always in the thick of the action. His three tries against Italy were exceptional.

7. KEVIN GOURDON (FRANCE)

A high class operator at the breakdown, he was a constant source of inspiration for the French.

8. LOUIS PICAMOLES (FRANCE)

One of the most effective players in the tournament. His brute strength was a nightmare for the opposition.
