It was the ladies that stole the show early on.

With some exciting action.

There were medals up for grabs.

With a place for every level of competitor.

And some of the action was intense.

As well as enthralling.

But built on the sportsmanship and values that make jiu-jitsu great.

Some young medal winners.

It was then the boys turn to take centre stage.

And they, again, played in the right manner.

But it didn't mean they weren't out to win.
