Jiu-Jitsu fighters take in the sights of Abu Dhabi during World Professional Championships

From all corners of the globe, 7,000 jiu-jitsu fighters have gathered in the capital for the 9th edition of the Abu Dhabi World Professional Jiu-Jitsu Championships.

International, regional and local fighters from more than 100 countries are fighting for glory and showcasing their skills at the tournament, which runs until April 23rd, but while they are here, several of the fighters also grabbed the opportunity to take in the sights of Abu Dhabi.

The UAE capital boasts iconic buildings, world-class entertainment venues and several heritage sites, and the fighters could not resist the chance to explore the city.

The photos show the fighters experiencing the wonder, grandeur and culture of Abu Dhabi.
