August 28, 2010: News of the World breaks news of spot-fixing by Salman Butt, Mohammad Asif, Mohammad Amir and agent Mazhar Majeed.
September 2: ICC provisionally suspends the players.
October 31: ICC rejects all three players' appeals against suspension.
February 5, 2011: Michael Beloff bans Butt for 10 years, Asif for seven and Amir for five.
November 1, 2011: Southwark Crown Court finds Butt and Asif guilty of "conspiracy to cheat" and "accept corrupt payments".
April 14, 2013: Asif confesses to spot-fixing, apologises.
April 17, 2013: Butt and Asif lose appeal against bans.
Jan 29, 2015: ICC allows Amir to resume playing domestic cricket.
June 18, 2015: Butt finally accepts his guilt, apologises for his role.
August 19, 2015: ICC lifts sanctions against Butt, Asif and Amir.
