Tatenda Talbu. The Zimbabwe wicketkeeper batsman was made captain of the Test side at the tender age of 20 years and 358 days. And he did a decent job at the helm.
Graeme Smith. After Shaun Pollock resigned in the aftermath of the 2003 World Cup defeat, Smith was named captain of the Test side aged 22 years and 82 days.
Shakib Al Hasan. The Bangladesh all-rounder became captain of the Test side when he was 22 years and 115 days of age. He led his country for a considerable time.
Sachin Tendulkar. The legendary batsman became the India captain at the age of 23 years and 169 days. But his captaincy was not as good as his batting.
