India reclaimed the Border-Gavaskar Trophy after completing an eight-wicket win over Australia in the fourth Test at the HPCA Stadium, Dharamsala.

With this victory, the Indians completed a turnaround from being 0-1 down after losing the first Test in Pune to win the series 2-1.

Resuming on day four, needing just 87 runs to win, KL Rahul looked to be in fine touch once again as he hit some boundaries early on.

The Indian team suffered a bit of a hiccup when Murali Vijay and Cheteshwar Pujara were dismissed in the same over. The former was caught behind, while the in-form Pujara was run-out for a duck after a mix-up with Rahul.

There were no more wobbles for the hosts as stand-in captain Ajinkya Rahane went on the attack right away. His two sixes off consecutive deliveries against Pat Cummins ended whatever hopes Australia had of winning the match.

In the end, Rahul notched up his sixth half-century of the series to guide India to a comfortable victory.
