A timeline of Shashank Manohar’s brief reign as ICC chairman

On Wednesday, ICC chairman Shashank Manohar resigned from his post due to personal reasons, ending his eight-month term in office.

And while Manohar’s reign was short-lived, he made waves in the job.

Acting as the first independent ICC chairman, Manohar set about diminishing the power of cricket’s ‘Big Three’ during his time at the helm of cricket’s governing body.

He also wasn’t on the best of terms with Anurag Thakur when Thakur was BCCI president.

Here, we look at Manohar’s time as ICC chairman which was a brief yet potentially highly significant eight months in the chair.
