After his century in the Test against South Africa, New Zealand captain Kane Williamson has climbed two places to second in the latest ICC Test Rankings for Batsmen.

Australia skipper Steve Smith is still the top-ranked batsman in Test cricket and has a healthy lead at the top.

On the other hand, India captain Virat Kohli has fallen to fourth place after disappointing performances in the first two Tests against Australia.

Cheteshwar Pujara, who scored a crucial 92 in India’s second innings in the Bengaluru Test against Australia, is sixth and finds himself just one point behind David Warner.

The top 10 batsmen in the rankings can be seen in the gallery above.
