India have closed the gap to New Zealand to five points in the latest ICC T20I Rankings after their 2-1 series win over England on Wednesday.

England, on the other hand, have slipped one place and find themselves at the sixth spot – one point behind South Africa and Australia.

South Africa lost four points after their T20I series loss against Sri Lanka, with the Proteas also falling down one position. They are level on points with Australia, but are ahead when decimals are considered and that sees them at the fourth spot.

Sri Lanka gained four points thanks to their series win over South Africa, but still find themselves at the sixth position.

New Zealand continue to top the rankings, while reigning World T20 champions West Indies are third.

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) are 16th on the table, with only Oman below them.

The entire rankings can be seen in the gallery above.
