India beat England by 15 runs to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match ODI series against England at Cuttack on Thursday.

Yuvraj Singh and MS Dhoni were the stars for India, with both notching up centuries. The duo rolled back the years and starred in a 256-run partnership with Yuvraj registering a career-best 150 and Dhoni scoring 134.

The stand helped India reach a total of 381/6 in their 50 overs.

Earlier, Eoin Morgan had won the toss and put India into bat.

Indian openers KL Rahul and Shikhar Dhawan started off in aggressive fashion, but some brilliant bowling from Chris Woakes saw India reduced to 25/3.

Indian captain Virat Kohli had a rare failure, getting dismissed for just eight.

In reply, it was Morgan who gave England hope. The English skipper slammed a 81-ball 102 which included six fours and five sixes.

Jason Roy, Joe Root and Moeen Ali also chipped in with half-centuries, but the game was lost for England in the middle overs when Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin put a control on the scoring rate.

Ashwin picked up three wickets, while Jadeja conceded just 45 runs in his 10 overs which was a great effort in such a high-scoring match.
