The line between hip hop artist and modern day footballer is becoming ever more blurred with some of the top stars’ social media channels resembling music videos.

And it’s this cultural shift which has formed the inspiration behind ridiculously talented graphic designer Dinesh Kumar Hardayal’s (@DHardayal) stunning combination of Liverpool players with hip hop album covers.

From Philmatic for the Brazilian magician Philippe Coutinho to Damn Daniel for fringe striker Daniel Sturridge, Dinesh’s creations are utterly perfect.

Take a look at the gallery above for the full collection of hip-hop inspired Liverpool player album covers and pick out your favourite.
