It’s been a while since Manchester United knocked someone of their perch but they’ve done so quite emphatically in the Deloitte Football Money League.

The latest edition of the league sees the Red Devils sit in first place in terms of revenue generated, finally bringing an end to Real Madrid’s 11-year reign at the summit.

The Madridistas in fact, drop to third behind fierce La Liga rivals Barcelona albeit by a very small margin.

Premier League sides unsurprisingly dominate the list, featuring in five of the top 10 spots and eight in the top 20.

Reigning champions of England Leicester City just about make the cut, coming in at 20th.

Are there any surprises in the top 20?
