If you are a Premier League football fan or live in Dubai, then you will be well aware that Manchester United have been here in the emirate for the past few days on a winter training camp.
Hoping a team-bonding session in the sun can help reinvigorate a faltering season, United players and coaches have been spotted around town, relaxing by the beach or going through their paces during light training sessions.
By and large, media and fan access has been extremely limited, but those same rules do not apply if you are on of the greatest footballer of all time.
Diego Maradona, who lives and works in the UAE as a Global Ambassador for the Dubai Sports Council, paid United a visit during training this morning – and despite being regarded as icons themselves, the United players can be forgiven for being a little star-struck by the Argentine.
