Ahead of his Inside Story focusing on the relationship between the UAE and Pakistan internationals, Sport360’s online deputy editor Barnaby Read selects his dream team of the nation’s players to have played on the domestic scene in their adopted home.

The two nations have a strong bond due to the UAE hosting Pakistan’s international cricket since 2009 and back in 2013-14 the relationship blossomed.

As the UAE played host to the IPL, the exiled Pakistan players found their own comfort in UAE domestic tournaments.

And in Yasir Shah and Asad Shafiq, they found two top class players who are now intrinsically linked to the UAE.

What do you make of this team and do you think the UAE needs more Pakistan players to come and play here?
