Andres Iniesta bid farewell to Barcelona in an emotional final game at the Camp Nou on Sunday.

The Spaniard made his last appearance for the Catalans after 24 years at the club from youth level.

Paco Alcacer replaced Iniesta in the final 10 minutes, prompting a huge applause, tears and a standing ovation from the home support.

The 34-year-old was not ready to say his final goodbye to the ground on his substitution though.

After the La Liga title celebrations, and with everyone else gone, Iniesta wandered back out onto the pitch on his own.

He sat down in the centre circle for a few minutes, laying down for a bit as well before finally walking away.

Some reports suggest he was out on the pitch until 1 am.
