2016 AFC Champions League top scorers: Jeonbuk’s Leonardo and Al Ain’s Douglas represent the two finalists

Jeonbuk FC beat Al Ain FC 3-2 on aggregate in the 2016 AFC Champions League final. Both teams plundered their fair share of goals on their way to the tournament’s finale.

The champions’ Brazilian star Leonardo placed second in the goal scoring charts with 10 strikes to his name while his compatriot Douglas also made the top five with five goals for the UAE outfit. Meanwhile, FC Seoul’s own Brazilian Adriano finished at the top of the pile.

As far as assists go, the two finalists led the way again with Omar Abdulrahman and Ricardo Lopes registering five each.
