England manager Gareth Southgate has called their round of 16 clash with Colombia “the biggest game in 10 years” and certainly the level of expectation around the Three Lions is reaching near fever pitch.

For their opponents, they will be hoping to return to the quarter-finals in consecutive World Cups after bowing out to the hosts in the last eight at Brazil four years ago.

The two sides last met at a World Cup twenty years ago at France ’98 with England coming out on top 2-0 in Lens thanks to a brace from one David Beckham.
