Cristiano Ronaldo’s brief break after Real Madrid’s Champions League triumph is over and he has begun work with Portugal ahead of World Cup 2018.

Ronaldo, 33, joined his nation’s camp in Cascais on Monday afternoon – 11 days before their Group B-opener against Spain.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner was given time off after Madrid’s 3-1 showpiece victory in Kiev on May 26.

Portugal have never won the World Cup, but managed to lift Euro 2016.
