Why watching the World Cup final at The Stables Dubai is a good choice

After four weeks of sensational football, the 2014 FIFA World Cup will reach its climax tonight as Argentina take on Germany for a chance to capture one of the most-coveted sporting trophies on the planet.

It is a contest between the best player in the world – Lionel Messi – and the best team in the world and tonight will probably be long remembered by football fans across the globe. This is why choosing the right spot to watch the game is a crucial decision.

The Stables in Dubai could be just what you’re looking for and provides the perfect setting for the grand finale of Brazil 2014.

Sitting in a prime location on Sheikh Zayed Road, The Stables has become a popular spot for sports fans and pub-goers alike since it opened three years ago.

It is far grander than your average sports bar, boasting high ceilings, dark wooden furnishings, brass finishing and, of course, a vague equine theme. It has 15 TV screens and a big screen projecter and can accommodate up to 150 people, meaning you’re guaranteed a good view of the match, from whichever corner you are seated in.

“We have a classic pub setting like none other in Dubai,” said manager Chris Jones.

“We have live entertainment every night with some amazing food and beverage offers. A weekly quiz, karaoke, a rodeo bull and three ping pong tables.”

The rodeo bull is part of the new American sports bar they added to the top floor called Rodeo Drive, which has also proven a big hit.

The Stables has live music six nights a week, they host the Big Nick & Dave quiz on Sunday nights, Karaoke Couture with Coxy on Tuesdays and offer a great brunch every Friday.

They don’t take bookings after 19:30 so make sure you give them a call early as they run a first-come, first-served policy.

They’ve recently adopted a smart casual dress code from 18:00 onwards so put on something nice for tonight’s World Cup final.
