UAE Royals celebrate 43rd UAE National Day in Singapore

US Open Champion Marin Cilic, Tunisian Malek Jaziri; legendary Goran Ivanisevic, doubles-specialist Nenad Zimonjic, World No. 67 Kristina Mladenovic and team coach John-Laffnie de Jager celebrated the occasion by cutting a cake on court.

The team is having a superb run in the revolutionary new league, having won 2 matches out of the 4 played so far, and sitting no. 2 on the league tables.

After the Singapore and Delhi legs, the team will reach UAE on 9th December for the final leg. 

The Coca-Cola International Premier Tennis League (IPTL) presented by Qatar Airways is a unique team-based tennis league founded by multiple grand-slam winner, India’s Mahesh Bhupathi and played across 4 countries in Asia.

It features 21 Grand Slam Champions and 14 current/former World Number Ones, with the winning team walking away with prize money of USD 1 million.

The inaugural edition will be held in the cities of Manila, Singapore, New Delhi and Dubai between 28th November and 13th December 2014.
