Emirates Airline Dubai Rugby Sevens set to bring the Sevens Stadium alive on December 1

Dubai’s Sevens Stadium is gearing up to come alive on the first day of the Emirates Airline Dubai Rugby Sevens on December 1.

The three-day extravaganza kicks off with the HSBC World Rugby Women’s Sevens Series on Pitch 1 and will include defending champions Australia against South Africa.

With free entry for all on Thursday, the National Day celebration is off to a great start at the Dubai Rugby Sevens and everyone can enjoy a truly family-friendly event.

The Rugby Village will offer an array of activities, competitions, and games so fans can enjoy more than just world-class rugby on the opening day of what is expected to be a fantastic weekend.

Families are also catered for with a special entrance and apart from the 2,000 designated family seats in the family stand, a range of F&B outlets will also be on offer for all to enjoy. A free bus service to family drop-off points will be available throughout Dubai, and will be operating from 6pm.

A total of 18 international matches will be played on Thursday and the largest Invitation Tournament to-date kicks off with rugby and netball matches taking place.

Rated one of the most prestigious tournaments in the world, the Invitation Tournament will see competition in categories ranging from Gulf Men’s League, Gulf Vets and UAE National School Boys.
