The 9th Abu Dhabi World Professional Jiu-Jitsu Championship kicks off in the capital this week.
More than 7,000 athletes from over 100 countries will compete for prizes, including star names, such as: Gabriel Arges, Alexandre Ribeiro, Jose Junior, Adam Wardzinski, Marcio Andre, Kennan Cornelius, Gianni Grippo, Faisal Alketbi, Claudio Calasans, Isaque Paiva, Felipe Pena, Nathiely de Jesus, Mackenzie Dern and Luiza Monteiro Costa.

Relive the pre-industrial UAE and witness traditional dhow boats battle for supremacy at Dalma Island.
The inaugural edition of the 60ft Dhow Race, starts at Dalma Island and takes in other islands such as Sir Bani Yas Island, Ghasha Island, Umm Al Kurkum Island, Al Fatayer Island, Al Bazam Island, Marawah Island and Jananah Island before boats come to a halt at Al Mirfa.
