BADMINTON WORLD SUPER SERIES FINALS 2016
WEDNESDAY DECEMBER 14 – SUNDAY DECEMBER 18
The BWF Dubai World Superseries Finals are back again this year, seeing some of the world’s best badminton stars competing at the Hamdan Sports Complex in Dubai.
Launched in 2007, the BWF World Superseries is a 12-tournament series where the world’s best singles and doubles players compete to reach the top eight Destination Dubai Rankings and secure a place in the Dubai World Superseries Finals in December.
The BWF Dubai World Superseries Finals will see the eight top players in the Destination Dubai Rankings in singles, doubles and mixed doubles categories compete in Dubai from December 14-18, for a share of a million dollar prize pool.
To qualify for Dubai the players have to amass points from twelve MetLife BWF World Superseries Tournaments held throughout the year.

THE MEGAS, THE MIDDLE EAST GOLF AWARDS 2016
Sport360, in association with the region’s golf bodies and sports councils, recognise the incredible achievements that have been accomplished throughout the year with the MEGAs, the Middle East Golf Awards.
A black tie event, the MEGAs set a new standard of golf awards, and, as an annual event, will reflect the ultimate ambitions of everyone involved in golf here in the region.
The 2016 edition of the MEGAs is supported by Singha Corporation and Dubai Sports City.

MERCEDES-BENZ CHALLENGE POWERED BY RUSH-A-WAY

Calling all petrolheads! The Mercedes-Benz Challenge, powered by Rush-A-Way, is an adrenaline-fueled racing challenge in the UAE.
100 teams will drive around Dubai in Mercedes-Benz cars, completing seven challenges to win the ultimate prize, a Mercedes-Benz GLC 250.

JLL TRIATHLON SERIES 2016/17 – RACE 1
SATURDAY, DECEMBER 17
Held at the Jebel Ali Golf Resort, participants return to test their triathlon mettle in Dubai.
Triathletes and casual competitors will be tasked with a 750-metre swim, followed by a 20km bike ride and then, once inside the hotel’s grounds, a 5km run.
The race’s first edition initially attracted hundreds of people but as the triathlon gathers support with each passing year, organisers are expecting larger turnouts.

The Desert Road Run appeals to athletes of all levels, from first timers to seasoned runners.
Essentially a community run encouraging participation, the course has a private traffic-free road that extends to a 10km distance for experienced runners, and 3km for newcomers.
