The PixMob Electroband LED bracelet, made famous recently at Taylor Swift’s shows among others, will soon be gracing sports events in the UAE, as the Electric Run 2016 returns to Dubai at Zabeel Park.

The wearable technology that illuminates and pulsates in tune with live music is now coming to the 5km night run taking place on November 4.

All 10,000 plus runners will be given their own Electroband as part of their race registration to enhance their night run experience.

PixMob’s interactive wearable technology has attracted the likes of Oprah, the Super Bowl, NBA, the Sochi Winter Games, Taylor Swift, David Guetta, Tiësto and the world famous Cirque du Soleil.

The light effects produced by the LED devices can be controlled to match a light show, pulsate in sync with the music, and react to the body movement. On November 4, the Electrobands will be synched to a transmitter where they are manipulated in time with the music creating vast waves of coloured light throughout the 5k course.

Each participant will receive a free Electroband as part of their race pack when they buy a ticket to Electric Run on www.ElectricRun.ae starting from AED 170 for teams and AED 185 for individuals.

This year, Electric Run has introduced the Deluxe Package, starting from AED 250, which will include a standard registration plus extra glow goodies – LED shades, LED baton, Electric silicone bracelet and a Glow Party Kit.
