PSA Dubai World Series Finals 2016 – everything you need to know from how to get tickets to the match schedule and who is competing

The 2016 Professional Squash Association Dubai World Series Finals will see the world’s eight best male and female players compete in a five-day squash extravaganza to determine who will win the final title of the 2015/16 season, and claim one of the sport’s most lucrative prizes.

WHEN: The tournament will take place from 24 – 28 May.

WHERE: A state-of-the-art squash court will be constructed in Burj Park, where there will be a spectacular backdrop of the Downtown Dubai skyline.

WHO: In order to compete at the spectacular season-ending event both the men’s and women’s players will have to rank in their respective top eight on the ‘PSA Road To Dubai Standings’.

On the men’s side of the draw World number one Mohamed El Shorbagy, world champion Gregory Gaultier, Nick Matthew, Omar Mosaad, Mathieu Castagnet, Miguel Angel Rodriguez, Simon Rosner and Cameron Pilley will contest for the title.

The women’s line-up was finalised in March and will feature new world champion and world number one Nour El Sherbini of Egypt. She will be joined by world number two Laura Massaro, eight-time World Champion Nicol David, Raneem El Welily, Camille Serme, Omneya Abdel Kawy, Amanda Sobhy and Nouran Gohar.

SCHEDULE:

Tuesday 24       – Group matches: Session 1 (14:00), Session 2 (19:00)
Wednesday 25 – Group matches: Session 1 (14:00), Session 2 (19:00)
Thursday 26     – Group matches: Session 1 (14:00), Session 2 (19:00)
Friday 27           – Semi-finals (19:00)
Saturday 28      – Finals (19:00)

TICKETS: Tickets are expected to sell out fast and can be purchased from the Ticketmaster website.
