Steph Curry equals NBA record in stunning display against Oklahoma City Thunder, hitting winning three pointer in overtime

Curry netted his 12th three-pointer, equalling an NBA record, with 0.6 seconds remaining in overtime to cap a comeback 121-118 success at Chesapeake Arena.

The Western Conference leaders started slowly but, aided by Curry’s 43 points, hit back to move to 53 and five. Kevin Durant scored 37 points for the hosts.

The Portland Trail Blazers won for the 16th time in 20 matches, Damian Lillard leading the way with 31 points in the 103-95 win over the Chicago Bulls.

Karl-Anthony Towns’ 30-point return was the highlight of the Minnesota Timberwolves’ 112-110 success against the New Orleans Pelicans, while the Boston Celtics saw off the Miami Heat 101-89.

Kawhi Leonard (27) and LaMarcus Aldridge (26) helped the San Antonio Spurs to 104-94 win over the Houston Rockets, while Andre Drummond posted his NBA -leading 50th double-double with 15 points and 17 rebounds in the Detroit Pistons’ 102-91 win over the Milwaukee Bucks.
