It was all smiles for The Millennium School Dubai (TMS Dubai) as they added Kabbadi and football titles to their trophy cabinet.

In the Kabaddi League, organised by the Consulate General of India, KHDA and Indian High School, the event attracted top teams from across the UAE.

But TMS Dubai rose to the occasion to reign supreme in a highly competitive event.

It was even more special for captain Adhil Afsal, who won Best Player of the Tournament award, after a stunning tournament.

Abhisheik Anil, meanwhile, picked up the Best Raider accolade.

There was more success for the school’s Under-16 football team.

Competing in the Our Own Al Ain Inter-School tournament, TMS Dubai faced stern competition with 16-teams vying for glory.

But they went from strength-to-strength and emerged champions with Mohammed Aayaz sealing the top-scorer award.

Executive principal Michael Guzder heaped praise on the two triumphant teams.

“The school is extremely happy with this win,” he said. “Hats off to the players who were passionate as well as being disciplined. The Kabaddi team worked hard with the coach Mrs. Selvarani Afsal throughout their training.”
