Joylyn Sta. Barbara led Ballantine’s offensive after posting a 615 series. She got ample support from Robin Edralin who added 613 pinfalls while veteran team member Raquel Hayes finished with 612 series. Jun Morales and team captain Mario Magdaluyo also finished strong with 583 and 579 scratch series respectively.

Ballantine’s managed to stay at the top of the table team standings with an aggregate score of 127 points but Crazy X are just one point behind them.

“It will be a very tight final round,” Magdaluyo told Sport3600. “We will be going up against Team Express bannered by Philippine national team member Hashim Guinomla while Crazy X will face five-time champions Lacoste-Dante’s Peak.”

“It will be a battle of nerves. We are practically tied with Crazy X and we are not yet assured to win the Cup. Every pin fall counts,” added Magdaluyo.

Crazy X are also on track to winning their championship trophy after crushing Front Row 8-0. Tina Tabon carried the team with 658 series and bagged the High Series of the Week with her 241 pin falls in game 1.  Stephen Fideles added 651; Ben Descargar 621; Rodel Billones 611; and Jake Leonador 572.

In other matches, Lacoste-Dante’s Peak demolished The InKredibowls 9-2; Titans demolished Kitzler Team (Brooklyn Style) 11-0; Sherlock surprised former champions V for Victory 6-5; Team Express trounced Strike Kings 8-0;  SMDC the good guys beat Genesis Xtranol 8-0; and Team Atkins defeated Macoy’s Team 6-3.
